Travel to Chichen Itza!

If you're looking for a place to travel then look no more! This past June I traveled to Cancun, Mexico and toured around the many wonderful places that Mexico has to offer. One of my favorite places was visiting Chichen Itza which is one of the New7Wonders of the World. This excursion is a must if you are traveling through out Mexico and want to a history lesson. I booked my tickets through Aviator and our trip was very pleasant. If you are looking to be amazed and learn more about the culture then I highly recommend visiting Chichen Itza. If you have any questions or would like to learn more please let me know in the comments below. I will be posting more pictures about other tourist attractions in Cancun in the following weeks. Enjoy!

Burgundy Vibes

Hello, happy Fall! It is officially fall and NYC is becoming chillier by the day. This past weekend I finally walked the Brooklyn Bridge and the view was phenomenal. I think the best views of NYC are during the night time because of all of the beautiful lights.

Stepping into FALL

Hi everyone! Welcome to my very first post. This first post is all about fashion. Last weekend I visited the One World Observatory in NYC with my boyfriend. This particular outfit is what essentially sparked the idea of creating a fashion blog. Today's outfit consists of a hybrid between casual and dressy. I knew I wanted to dress up but also feel comfortable and casual. I will try to link similar items for purchases done online.
Outfit details:
Light blazer with shoulder pads purchased at  De Janeiro (NYC Locations). Brand: XTaren, Size: Small
Dressy sleeveless top from Loft. Size: XSmall Petite. SIMILAR HERE or SIMILAR HERE or check out this store in person: Famous Brands (NYC)
Purse: Kenneth Cole Reaction SIMILAR HERE
Jeans: Cello Jeans SIMILAR HERE
Shoes: Breckelle's in the color Tan HERE
My take on this outfit: I fell in love with the blazer as soon as I saw it in stores! However, I did not notice the shoulder pads until I had it on for a couple of minutes. I could do without the shoulder pads but I am still in love with the color combination. It is perfect for fall. My shirt is something I wear at least once or every other week while at work since it is not completely see through and I can get away with it if I pair it with a neutral color bra. There was a time a time in my life where I swore to never wear Jeans and only wore leggings or jeggings for a whole year! These jeans are comfortable and they do stretch after you wear them and walk in them (but they return to their original size once put in the wash). Because my best friend works in retail I am always able to buy purses at 40% off so I had to buy this gold tone purse. This purse has three compartments, two outer zipper compartments and a snap closure in between and the strap is adjustable. Lastly my shoes, oh these shoes that I wanted to love but have a love-hate relationship with. I personally cannot walk in heels for a long period of time so these shoes were perfectly snug and comfortable for the first two hours. The zipper is on the outer part of the shoe which is odd but I really like the fringe detailing all around the shoe.
