Stepping into FALL

Hi everyone! Welcome to my very first post. This first post is all about fashion. Last weekend I visited the One World Observatory in NYC with my boyfriend. This particular outfit is what essentially sparked the idea of creating a fashion blog. Today's outfit consists of a hybrid between casual and dressy. I knew I wanted to dress up but also feel comfortable and casual. I will try to link similar items for purchases done online.

My take on this outfit: I fell in love with the blazer as soon as I saw it in stores! However, I did not notice the shoulder pads until I had it on for a couple of minutes. I could do without the shoulder pads but I am still in love with the color combination. It is perfect for fall. My shirt is something I wear at least once or every other week while at work since it is not completely see through and I can get away with it if I pair it with a neutral color bra. There was a time a time in my life where I swore to never wear Jeans and only wore leggings or jeggings for a whole year! These jeans are comfortable and they do stretch after you wear them and walk in them (but they return to their original size once put in the wash). Because my best friend works in retail I am always able to buy purses at 40% off so I had to buy this gold tone purse. This purse has three compartments, two outer zipper compartments and a snap closure in between and the strap is adjustable. Lastly my shoes, oh these shoes that I wanted to love but have a love-hate relationship with. I personally cannot walk in heels for a long period of time so these shoes were perfectly snug and comfortable for the first two hours. The zipper is on the outer part of the shoe which is odd but I really like the fringe detailing all around the shoe.
