My go to "Office-to-Date Night" Outfits

Hello my beautiful people!

Today's post is a roundup of some of my favorite outfits for work. My dress code is business casual and I often times find myself experimenting with different types of outfits that are both work appropriate but also works for a date out in the city.
Layered Bell Sleeve Sweater (Similar) | A Line Skirt w/ Scalloped Hem Similar | Black Booties

This first outfit is my favorite! It includes mixing different types of clothing textures and styles. I decided to opt for a layered bell sleeve sweater, that is oh so soft, and an A line skirt with a scalloped hem that flowed effortlessly. Since this skirt had no stretch to it, I had to wear this above my waist and tuck in my sweater for a more polished looked. To make this work appropriate, I decided to wear black opaque tights and a mid-high heel bootie.

This next outfit also involves a scalloped style (can you tell I'm obsessed with scallops?). This outfit was more out of my comfort zone since it exposed more of my chest area (without giving too much away). Since my skirt hit right above my knees, I opted out of wearing tights and wore my trusted booties. My problem area are my arms and midsection so I decided to wear a black cardigan and was grateful that this scalloped bodysuit was formfitting and gave me a slimmer silhouette.

Pearl Embellished Tiered Top (Similar) | Wrap Skirt (SimilarSimilar) | Black Booties

This next outfit is very out there for me! I am usually not a fan of tops accentuating my arm/shoulder area but this top is just too fun and girl to skip out on. I loved the very detailed pear embellishments and the ruffles that goes across the chest area. This wrap skirt is on the shorter side so I had to opt for black opaque tights and my trusted walking booties. My only concern about this top is that I must wear it tucked into my skirt or pants since my chest area is rather larger and makes me look a lot bigger  than what I really am.

That is all for today! I cannot wait to do more of these posts and show my fashion side a bit more. Thanks for reading!
